Rocking to Reggae

Patriotic Ventures


The American House of Cinema is now showing "The Patriot," Dean Semler's 1998 movie about a doctor, played by Steven Seagal, whose past history with the chemical weapons division of the CIA comes into play when the rural town he lives in is infected with a deadly toxin. The film shows in English at 7 p.m. through Monday. Russian translation via headphones is available through Sunday. Proven Guilty


On Sunday, see one of Moscow's most popular shows, Guilty Without Guilt at the Vakhtangov Theater. Pyotr Fomenko's intimate version of Ostrovsky's play about a woman spurned in love who returns home a famous actress many years later, the play shows at 7 p.m. in the Small Hall of the theater, located at 26 Ulitsa Arbat.
