Boys Killed by Train

MOSCOW -- A train ran over two boys, aged 11 and 12, at a station outside St. Petersburg, killing both, Itar-Tass reported.

The accident occurred at the Gromovo station on an intercity rail line northwest of Russia's second-largest city, St. Petersburg, Itar-Tass reported, citing railway police.

The report did not say when the accident occurred. Police have opened an investigation, although they said preliminary evidence suggests the accident was caused by the boys' carelessness.
