Not only dolphins, but a white polar whale, sea lions and seals perform. The show lasts less than an hour, and children under 6 may attend free with a parent's ticket. Tickets are 16 to 22 rubles ($2.60 to $3.60).

Sheremetyev Estate

Kuskovo, 2 Ulitsa Yunosti. Nearest metro: Ryazansky Prospekt. Tel. 370-0160. Open 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Wednesday to Sunday except the last Wednesday of the month.

This was once a residence of the Sheremetyev family. Shady paths and ponds make it a pleasant place on hot days. More than 20 monuments in the park were built during the 18th century and give a sense of its long history. To visit all the buildings on the estate costs 25 rubles.

Battle With Paint

Children can run wild at this club, located in a forest just outside Moscow. Or you can join them in a paint war. Air guns and other equipment is rented for $35 on weekends and $25 weekdays, and 2,000 paintballs cost $120. Children, who must be at least 8 years old, pay $15 for the equipment during the week, $25 on weekends. The club has horse and pony rides and a barbecue.

Glass Slippers

On July 4, celebrate U.S. Independence Day at the ballet "Cinderella," or Zolushka. The music is written by Sergei Prokofiev and is based on the tale of a poor girl who finds her prince.

The ballet will be followed by a concert. The show starts at 3 p.m., and the tickets cost 10, 15 or 20 rubles.
