Gagarin Rave Returns

Timur Lansky, one of the founders of the early Gagarin raves, and a gaggle of DJs from all across Russia, are planning to funk-up the Tushino Aerodrome on Saturday, with an all-day dance-a-thon in honor of the World Youth Games. The rave-istivities include the all-girl group Blestyashchiye and fashion shows by well-known Moscow designers. Let's hope it doesn't rain on their parade.

Boogie Nights

The Gvozdi (Nails) club opposite the Itar-Tass building is at the forefront of the funk/disco retro-lution sweeping through Moscow clubs as rave turns into yesterday's beat. This Saturday it throws a "Boogie Nights" party with DJ Dev from Russkoye Radio. Wide collars are a must for the guys, sparkles and polyester for the girls.
