French Pop on Film

See "Les Soeurs Soleil," a 1997 film by Jeannot Szwarc, the French filmmaker who directed "Jaws 2." Starring Cl?mentine C?larie... and Thierry l'Hermitte, the film is about a pop singer who is trying to renew her career. The film shows in Russian at 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. through Sunday at the Khudozhestvenny cinema at 14 Arbatskaya Ploshchad. Tickets cost 10 to 20 rubles ($1.75 to $3.50). Tel. 291-9624. Voices From the Past

Da Camera e da Chiesa Ensemble, conducted by Viktor Felitsiant, performs Russian, English and German music from the 16th to the 18th century Wednesday at the Historical Museum. Computer-Aided Art

The Fine Arts Gallery is now showing an exhibition of works by Dorothee Meddens, contemporary Dutch artist. Along with the oil paintings, included in the display are works created by using computer printing on the canvases under the transparent layers of paint. The works can be seen Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the gallery located at 3 Bolshaya Sadovaya, building 10, in the courtyard of the Pekin restaurant. Admission is free.
