Tea Jazz for Three


For a sample of alternative Russian jazz music, head to the Stolitsa Cultural Center on Thursday to hear the "Tea for Three" concert of avant-garde jazz performed by pianist Daniil Kramer, saxophone player Vladimir Chekasin and drummer Arvidas Joffe. Monster Cruise


See "Deep Rising," one of the American House of Cinema's new offerings showing in English. The movie tells the story of a gang of jewel thieves that boards an empty liner to find that the crew and passengers have been killed by a monster. The film shows at 9 p.m. Friday through Monday at the cinema in the Radisson Slavjanskaya Hotel at 2 Berezhkovskaya Naberezhnaya. Tickets cost 80 rubles ($13.50). Tel. 941-8747. French Art at Pushkin


Don't miss the "Drawings by French Masters" exhibit at the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts. Running through May 10, the display features works by French artists, including Poussin and Watteau from a New York collection.
