Berezovsky Hurt in Fall

Billionaire business mogul Boris Berezovsky is undergoing medical tests at Moscow's Central Clinical Hospital after he fell off his snowmobile Sunday, his spokesman said.

The former deputy secretary of Russia's Security Council is in stable condition, but his spokesman would give no further details of the accident.

"Boris Abramovich [Berezovsky] was involved in an accident with his snowmobile at the weekend," Vladimir Ruga, a spokesman for Berezovsky said Monday. "He has not broken his legs. He is not dead. I am not at liberty to disclose any further information."

A spokesman at the Central Clinical Hospital confirmed that Berezovsky had been admitted to the hospital Sunday afternoon.

The influential Forbes magazine last year named Berezovsky, 51, in the top 100 of the world's richest people. Despite his sacking from the Security Council, Berezovsky has retained his influence, largely through his relationship with President Boris Yeltsin's younger daughter, Tatyana Dyachenko.
