Scream Redux


The Kodak Cinema World shows "Urban Legend" (1998), director Jamie Blanks' low-budget version of "Scream" with an attractive cast of young TV stars. It shows in English with Russian subtitles at 9:30 and 11:30 a.m., 3:45, 5:45 and 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday at 2 Nastasyinsky Pereulok. Tickets cost 40 to 110 rubles ($2.25 to $6.15). Acoustic Harmony


Kalinov Most, a folk rock group from Novosibirsk, will mark the day of St. Iosaf as the Orthodox and Buddhist Friendship Holiday, and will present its new album "Weapon" at a concert Tuesday at the Stolitsa Cultural Center. The day of St. Iosaf is celebrated by the Orthodox Church on Dec. 2. The concert will also feature rock musician Sergei Kalugin and starts at 7 p.m. at the Central House of Artists, 10 Krymsky Val. Giant Exhibit for a Giant


Check out the "Peter the Great and Moscow" exhibit, featuring paintings, graphics, archival documents, costumes and decorative items from major Russian museums. Running through Jan. 20, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, except Monday, at the Engineer wing of the Old Tretyakov Gallery, 12 Lavrushensky Pereulok. Admission is 15 rubles (85 cents), 5 rubles for students.
