"Ronin," John Frankenheimer's 1998 film about intelligence agents out to steal a mysterious package, is showing through Dec. 24 at the Kodak Cinema World, 2 Nastasyinsky Pereulok. Starring Robert de Niro, the film is dubbed in Russian and shows at 10:30 a.m., 12:50, 5:15 and 7:45 p.m. with 12:30 a.m. and midnight showings Dec. 18 and 19, respectively. Rostropovich in Capital


Famed cellist Mstislav Rostropovich and the Russian National Orchestra perform Tuesday at the Conservatory's Great Hall. The concert, featuring Sibelius' Symphony No. 1 and Saint-Saens' Concerto for Cello. starts at 7 p.m in the hall at 13 Bolshaya Nikitskaya Ulitsa. Tickets cost up to 300 rubles ($14.25). Vasnetsov at Tretyakov


"Life Style - Art Style" exhibit features Russian, English, German and Swedish paintings, graphics, ceramics, furniture and other items from the late 19th to early 20th century. The exhibit runs through Feb. 7, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily except Mondays at the New Tretyakov Gallery at 10 Krymsky Val. Admission is 15 rubles (75 cents), 5 rubles (25 cents) for students.
