Trade Turnover to Fall

MOSCOW -- Russia's overall trade turnover with countries outside the former Soviet Union is expected to total $105 billion this year, 17 percent less than in 1997, the Economics Ministry said Monday.

Russian exports will likely amount to $60 billion, a drop of 14 percent, and imports are estimated to fall 19.5 percent to $45 billion, officials said.
