Revenues Drop




MOSCOW -- Russia's federal budget revenues were 41.3 percent less than planned for the first 10 months of this year, the Finance Ministry announced Tuesday.


Of the 215.7 billion rubles received, tax revenue was 173.9 billion rubles, 43.3 percent less than planned. Non-tax revenue was 16.9 billion rubles and revenue to special funds was 19.5 billion rubles.


Federal budget spending for the period was 281.8 billion rubles. The federal budget deficit for the year to September was 66.1 billion rubles and was financed exclusively by foreign sources.
