Life on Television

"The Truman Show," Peter Weir's 1998 film about an insurance salesman who discovers that his entire life has been a television show, is showing at the Kodak Cinema World. Starring Jim Carrey, the film shows through Thursday in English with Russian subtitles at 9:30 and 11:35 a.m., 1:40, 3:45, 5:50, 7:55 and 10 p.m. at 2 Nastasyinsky Pereulok. Never Leave Home

See "The Room of Laughter," Kama Ginkas' latest production of Oleg Bogayev's play, starring Oleg Tabakov as an impoverished, lonely World War II veteran who rarely leaves his shabby room. 150th Birthday in Style

The "Life Style Art Style" exhibit dedicated to the 150th birthday of the great Russian artist Viktor Vasnetsov features Russian, English, German and Swedish paintings, graphics, ceramics, furniture and other items from the late 19th to early 20th century. The exhibit runs through Feb. 7 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily except Monday at the New Tretyakov Gallery at 10 Krymsky Val. Admission is 15 rubles (95 cents), 5 rubles (30 cents) for students.
