Pushkin for All

Kama Ginkas, well-known "adult" director, famous for his staging of Dostoevsky, has released a play for children. "The Golden Cockerel," based on Pushkin's classic verse tale, combines original text and unorthodox acting, and is likely to be interesting to both, children and adults. The play shows at 11 a.m. Thursdays, October 15 and 22, at the Theater Yunogo Zritelya, 10 Mamonovsky Pereulok. Tickets cost 35 rubles ($2.35). Tel. 299-5360. Artists in Diapers

The Darwin Museum is running an unusual exhibit, "Artists in Pampers," featuring works of the smallest artists f from 6 months to 3 years old, created by them together with their mothers and doctor Maria Gmoshinskaya, an author of special methods for developing creative abilities of younger children. The exhibit runs until Oct. 30 and can be viewed from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m daily except Monday and the last Friday of the month at 57 Ulitsa Vavilova. Meet You at the Gym

Children from early walkers up to age 5, accompanied by adults, are invited to the Toddler's Gym, an indoor hall equipped with safe and durable children's playground equipment. Open 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Wednesday and Friday, located on the 5th floor of the Children's House of Art and Sport at 76 Leninsky Prospekt. The fee is $5 per session, plus a yearly membership fee.
