Hong Kong Conference

MOSCOW () -- Finance Minister Anatoly Chubais and CentralBank Chairman Sergei Dubinin will lead Russia's delegation to the annual IMF/World Bank meeting in Hong Kong later this month, official spokesmen said Wednesday.

Chubais, who is also first deputy prime minister in charge of economic policy, will be in Hong Kong from Sept. 19 to 26, a spokesman said.

Dubinin will leave Russia on Sept. 18 and will be joined by First Deputy Chairman Sergei Aleksashenko and Deputy Chairman Alexander Potyomkin on Sept. 20, a bank spokeswoman said. The Central Bank delegation will leave Hong Kong on Sept. 26.

Russia, one of the largest borrowers from both the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, and an increasingly large player in private world capital markets, will take part in the annual meeting from Sept. 23 to 25.
