Game Turns ViolentI

MEXICO CITY -- The annual game between Mexico City's two big college football teams turned violent as hooligans fired rockets and tossed homemade explosives into the stands at the city's Wilfrido Massieu stadium.

At least 10 people were injured Saturday after fans frightened by the fireworks rushed onto the field, forcing the cancellation of the classic game between the National Autonomous University and National Polytechnic Institute, the Radio Red radio network reported.
