No Halt to Food Aid

SEOUL, South Korea () --The South Korean Red Cross will offer more food aid to hunger-stricken North Korea despite a border clash earlier this week, a Seoul Red Cross spokesman said Friday.

The South Korean organization sent a message to the North, saying it had accepted the North's demand that Red Cross talks on food supplies be held in Beijing next Wednesday, he said.

"Food aid will continue," the spokesman said when asked if Wednesday's shooting across the border would have any impact on shipments.
