Adult Hungry Duck

If you liked the raunchiness of the Hungry Duck, but don't like pre-pubescents shaking their fannies at you from the bar, Doug's new venture, the blues bar Chesterfield, might appeal to more refined sensibilities. Bigger than a tennis court, with mustard-colored walls, plate-glass windows and the longest bar in Moscow (no boogeying on the bar yet!), the new blues venue might become what the Zoo had hoped to be -- a pickup joint for upscale expats and Hungry Duck graduates. Upcoming! An outdoor barbecue and Vegas-style $1.99 all-you-can-eat breakfast specials.

Chesterfield. Zemlyanoi Val 26. Metro: Kurskaya. Tel: 917-0150. Open 24 hours. No cover.

Eat Your Chance Out

Moscow's premier gay nightclub, Chance, has gone culinary with the opening of a seafood restaurant on the second floor, right beside those famous fish tanks with naked men swooshing about them.

Bring your date to watch Moscow's most fabulous TVs lip-syncing to cheesy disco hits at the restaurant's grand opening Saturday. And make sure you get a good view of the aquarium. Techno music on the first floor with DJ Solar X.

Chance. Ul. Volocharskogo 11/15, inside Dom Kultury Serp i Molot. Metro: Taganskaya. Tel: 267-4504. Cover: Free before 11 p.m. After 80,000 for men and 100,000 for women.
