Brazil Air Explosion

SAO PAULO, Brazil () -- A passenger was sucked out of a Brazilian TAM airplane and fell to his death after an explosion probably caused by unidentified chemicals tore a hole in the fuselage, police said.

Police said they found burn marks on the floor underneath the row of three seats which were thrown from the Fokker-100 aircraft after the explosion ripped a two-meter gash in the side of the fuselage Wednesday.

A total of 60 passengers were on board the flight, which managed to land safely.
