Unorthodox Churches

MOSCOW -- Two factories in the southern Russian town of Voronezh have begun producing mobile, prefab churches requested by the Orthodox Church, the Russian RIA news agency reported Wednesday.

The temporary heated churches can be assembled within a month and can accommodate up to 300 worshipers, RIA reported.

If possible, permanent brick churches will be built next to the temporary churches, which will then be transported to other needy areas, he said.
