Minivans Recalled

n AUBURN HILLS, Michigan -- Chrysler Corp. announced it is recalling several makes of minivans and automobiles because of potential seat belt and steering problems.

The company said Monday the seat belt buckle covers on the front and rear seats of 1991-1993 minivans may dislodge and cause the seat belts to be only partially latched.

Included in the minivan recall are the Dodge Caravan and Grand Caravan and Plymouth Voyager and Grand Voyager models. Also facing a recall are 1995 Dodge and Plymouth Neon models. Tests on those models revealed that severe damage to the Neon's undercarriage could separate the steering column and cause a loss of steering.
