4th-Quarter Run Gives Raptors Win

TORONTO -- Damon Stoudamire made two 3-pointers in the final 2:38 and scored 17 points in the fourth quarter, leading the Toronto Raptors to a 110-96 win over the Utah Jazz.

Stoudamire scored 27 points to lead the Raptors, who used an 18-4 run over the last five minutes to end a four-game losing streak.

Stoudamire's layup over Karl Malone extended Toronto's lead to 99-92 before Malone, who led the Jazz with 24 points, made a fade-away jumper to make it 99-94 with 2:57 left.

But Stoudamire made his two treys and Carlos Rogers added a 3-pointer over the final 2:38 as the Raptors handed the Jazz their seventh straight road loss and fifth loss in six games overall.

Doug Christie added 22 points and 10 assists for the Raptors.

Hawks 97, Magic 92 OT. In Orlando, Florida, Steve Smith scored 27 points and Atlanta made four free throws in the final nine seconds of overtime.

It was the second overtime victory in three nights for the Hawks, who held Penny Hardaway to nine points on 3-for-15 shooting and shut down Orlando after giving up 74 points in the first three quarters.

Smith poked the ball away from Hardaway at half court, picked up the loose ball and laid it in to put the Hawks ahead for good, 93-92.

Henry James scored 20 points for the Hawks.
