Debt Prices Rising

LONDON () -- Russian debt prices pressed on with their seemingly unstoppable rise Monday, with Vneshekonombank paper nearing 70 cents on the dollar by late morning, almost two points up on Friday's close and more than double levels at the start of the year.

Traders said there seemed to be little to stop the rise, which has come in anticipation of a Russian credit rating of around BB for its upcoming Eurobond issue.
