Police Storm Campus

SEOUL () -- As helicopters rained tear gas, thousands of gas-masked riot police stormed a Seoul college campus Wednesday to break up a rally outlawed by the government as pro-North Korean.

Students calling for reunification of North and South Korea set fire to dozens of tires piled up as barricade at Yonsei University's gate, and fought police with firebombs and fist-sized stones.

Police forced open the steel front gates with a truck and fired hundreds of volleys of tear gas, and 6,000 officers poured into the campus filled with 2,000 militant students.
