Bomb Threat Closes Airport

One of Moscow's biggest airports was closed for several hours on Wednesday after an anonymous caller telephoned a bomb threat. But a search failed to turn up any explosive device, Interfax said.

Interfax said departures from Vnukovo airport were delayed and passengers and staff evacuated from building after the caller told police a bomb had been planted there.

Security forces in Moscow have been put on high alert following two bomb blasts on Moscow trolleybuses which injured more than 30 people. No one has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
