ATLANTA () -- Organizers of this summer's Olympics say they are relieved.

A local businessman has decided to donate $1.5 million of his own money to make sure there are enough portable toilets, water stations and shade structures near Olympic venues during the Games, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Saturday.

J.B. Fuqua, who controls Atlanta-based Fuqua Enterprises Inc., learned from press reports last month that public comfort facilities could be few and far between during the Games, because of tight financing.

The Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games estimates it will need $2 million to provide an adequate number of toilets and water stations.
