Baltic Bank Buyout

TALLINN, Estonia () -- Hansa Bank, the largest bank in Estonia, said Monday it had completed the purchase of all shares in Latvia's Deutsch-Lettische Bank.

"The deal is now complete," Hansa Bank's Riga representative Herki Haldra said of the first cross-border bank buyout in the Baltics.

The contract price is 133.63 million Estonian kroons ($10.9 million) and will come into force June 7, Hansa Bank said in a statement.
