Andrews Upset at Tonys

NEW YORK () -- Broadway celebrated the 50th anniversary of its Tony awards Sunday night, democratically handing out four top honors apiece to "Rent," "Bring in 'Da Noise, Bring in 'Da Funk" and a revival of "The King and I."

In a stunning upset, which left as many slack jaws as the nominating committee's snub of "Victor/Victoria" that led star Julie Andrews to refuse the show's lone nomination, Donna Murphy won her second Tony as best actress in a musical for "The King and I" over Andrews, who had been expected to prevail.
