Kiev, IMF Talk Loan

KIEV -- Officials with the International Monetary Fund visited Ukraine on Sunday to discuss the country's current stand-by loan and preparations for a new loan similar to that awarded Russia in April.

The delegation is in Kiev prior to a May 10 meeting of the IMF board of directors, where it will be decided whether to award the fourth and fifth tranches of the stand-by loan -- each worth about $100 million.

The entire loan is valued at about $1.5 billion.
