EU Group Visits Iran

ROME () -- A European Union delegation arrived in Tehran on Tuesday to tell the Iranian government that the future of its controversial dialogue with Europe depends on a firm condemnation of "terrorism," diplomats said.

They said the trio of senior officials from Italy, Spain and Ireland would meet Iran's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Velayati. They also hoped to continue to Libya, where a visit tentatively scheduled Wednesday, still had to be finalized.
