MOSCOW () -- President Boris Yeltsin is planning visits to China, Norway and Ukraine before June elections, government aides said Monday.


Yeltsin's high-profile visit to China, originally scheduled for last fall but postponed after his heart attack, is now set for April 24 to 26, Itar-Tass reported.


Before the visit to China, the Russian president will make a state visit to Norway on March 25 to 26, presidential aides announced, Interfax reported.


Also on tap is a visit to Ukraine sometime in early April, said Interfax. The specific dates for the visit and its agenda have not yet been set.
