Tallinn Plans Net Link

TALLINN, Estonia () -- Estonia has ambitious plans to link all its schools to the Internet information superhighway, officials said Friday.

The move to link the whole country's schools to the Internet has been backed by President Lennart Meri, who launched the ambitious programme, which is expected to cost around $25 million. A commission has been set up to discuss ways of implementing the idea and talks were being held to obtain loans.
