LUKoil to Sell Bonds

MOSCOW () -- Russian oil giant LUKoil said it planned to sell 140,000 convertible bonds left over from previously announced issues.

Each of the zero-coupon bonds has a nominal value of 5 million rubles ($1,050) and is convertible into 170 ordinary LUKoil shares, the company said in a news release.

The company said a tender, which will be held by April 6, would be announced within 45 days. It gave no details of the terms.
