Fokker Gets Reprieve

AMSTERDAM () -- The Dutch government said Tuesday it would extend the bridging credit available to ailing aircraft maker Fokker NV by 15 million guilders ($9.23 million) for a maximum of two weeks.

The existing credit, granted Jan. 23, was due to run out this week. Fokker confirmed the extended credit line Tuesday in The Hague. Long-term survival remains a problem, however.
