Gang Violence Kills 4

MOSCOW () -- Four people were killed and two others were injured in a weekend of violence in Moscow, which police believe may have linked to underworld activity, police said Sunday, according to Itar-Tass.

One person was killed and another wounded Sunday afternoon when a car-bomb exploded in the capital. The bomb had been planted in a Zhiguly and police are working on the theory that it was a settling of scores between rival gangs, the agency said. The driver died in the explosion and a passer-by was injured.

Three others were killed in shooting incidents Saturday, including in a Russian army officer.

Moscow police said they have no leads in any of the murders.
