Subscriptions Slowing

NORWALK, Connecticut -- The number of higher-income households in the United States subscribing to Internet and online services has slowed, a market-research group survey has disclosed.

A study released Thursday by INTECO Corp. found that Internet and online subscriptions had reached 15.2 million in 10.4 million homes in September 1996. But it also noted that in U.S. households with annual incomes of $25,000 or more, Internet penetration had slowed.
