Russia-Seoul Pact

MOSCOW ) -- The Russian and South Korean defense ministers signed an agreement Monday to increase military cooperation between their two countries.

The agreement envisages exchanges of military delegations, visits by warships and training of Korean military personnel in Russia, a representative of Russia's general staff told Interfax.

Russian Defense Minister Igor Rodionov said that during his talks with his South Korean counterpart, Kim Dong-Jin, both sides hailed the growing military ties between the former enemies.
