Austrians Take Utah

PARK CITY, Utah () -- Thomas Sykora won the season's first World Cup slalom for men Sunday, leading a one-two sweep by the powerful Austrian team.

Sykora won with a time of 1:46.03, just ahead of teammate Thomas Stangassinger, who clocked 1:46.32. Kjetil Andre Aaamodt of Norway finished third in 1:46.91 and took over the overall World Cup lead after two races.
