Pulling Boris' Strings?

The press has already reported that Borya Yeltsin -- the president's grandson -- is studying at one of Great Britain's prestigious institutes of learning.

If we were to believe several Moscow newspapers, "Russian citizens would be very interested to know, out of which funds his education is being paid for." ...

The other day the president's press service calmed Russians worrying about the state purse: grandfather, having received $280,000 from foreign publishers who published his book, paid for all of grandson's expenses. A commentator of "Open Radio" (obviously, there's also closed radio! -- author) joyfully stated: "Taxpayers have no reason to worry anymore."

In fact, the opposite is true: Too many big royalties transferred from "abroad" by a completely established "literature-lover" can't not worry Russian citizens.
