Henley Hired Hitman

LOS ANGELES () -- Former Rams defensive back Darryl Henley has pleaded guilty to federal charges of solicitation of murder.

Henley entered the pleas Wednesday, admitting he tried to hire a hitman to kill U.S. District Judge Gary Taylor, the judge in his drug-trafficking trial 19 months ago, and Tracy Donaho, a key witness in the case.

Henley allegedly agreed to pay $100,000 for each murder.

Henley, 30, faces up to 41 years and three months in prison for the drug and solicitation cases combined. The government alleged that Henley asked a federal undercover agent to murder Taylor and Donaho.
