Gay Play

LONDON () -- Britain's first all-gay rugby club has received official recognition.

The King's Cross Steelers have been accepted as a full member of the Surrey Rugby Football Union, the Daily Telegraph reported Monday in a front-page story.

The club was formed a year ago in the Central Station pub in King's Cross, London. The team has played three matches and lost all three.

The Steelers' colors are green and blue.

"No we don't play in pink,'' Hayward told the Telegraph. "And I must say for a collection of gay men, we managed to pick the colors very quickly and without too much argument.''
