4 Dead in Plane Crash

TURIN, Italy -- A Russian Antonov cargo plane crashed into a village while trying to land at Turin airport in northwest Italy on Tuesday, plowing through farmhouses and killing at least four people. More than 20 on board survived.

The pilot and another crew member were killed in the crash in the village of San Francesco al Campo as the Antonov 124 with 23 people on board came in to land on a flight from Moscow, an official at the local prefecture said.

Two villagers were killed when they were buried in rubble as the plane sliced through buildings. Two other villagers were hurt. Rescue workers said 13 crew members were being treated for injuries.
