Yeltsin, Kuchma Meet

MOSCOW () -- President Boris Yeltsin and Ukrainian President

Leonid Kuchma agreed Tuesday in Moscow that the two countries might sign a bilateral large-scale treaty before the Black Sea fleet problem was fully sorted out, Ukrainian presidential adviser Vladimir Gorbulin told Interfax.

Gorbulin, who is also the secretary of the Ukrainian National Security Council, failed to say when the treaty would be signed.

Prime Minister Viktor Chernomyrdin also held a closed-door meeting with Kuchma on Tuesday to discuss a wide range of bilateral issues, Interfax reported.
