Only as Old as You Fee

GENEVA () -- Red Cross officials who questioned a Georgian woman's claim that she was 115 years old were told that there had been an error: She was in fact 120.

The woman, accompanied by her 80-year-old daughter, was a passenger on an international Red Cross flight from the western Georgian city of Senaki to Tbilisi on Christmas Day.

"When ICRC delegates expressed polite doubts about the old woman's year of birth (1880), she replied that the old tsarist officials had indeed made a mistake: In fact she was born five years earlier," the ICRC said.

According to the Guinness Book of Records, the oldest woman who has ever lived is Jeanne Calment of France, who celebrated her 120th birthday last February.
