U.S. Chicken in Russia

WASHINGTON () -- U.S. poultry exports reached record highs in several foreign markets last year, and the trend is expected to continue, Agriculture Department specialists say.

The biggest importer was Russia, which bought $310 million worth, mostly frozen chicken-leg quarters. The Russian total was about three times the level of the previous year, according to the department's Foreign Agricultural Service.
