'Stealth' Finder for Sale

PRAGUE () -- The Czech government has approved the export of a Tamara radar device, which its makers say can spot U.S. "stealth" aircraft, to the former Soviet republic of Kyrgyzstan, the Industry and Trade Ministry said.

But ministry spokesman Kamil Cermak cast doubt Wednesday on reports that Bosnian Serbs might have got hold of a Tamara to detect NATO aircraft.

Prague said last week it had authorized electronics company HTT Tesla AS to sell a Tamara to an "internationally acceptable" ex-Soviet republic but would not name it then.
