Refugees Fired On

NORTHERN OSSETIA, Southern Russia () -- Two men were killed and four wounded Thursday night in the village of Kurtat, Northern Ossetia, when unidentified gunmen opened fire on two train carriages serving as makeshift shelters for Ingush refugees.

The president of Northern Ossetia, Akhsarbek Galasov said the attack aimed at destabilizing the region. Ingush President Ruslan Aushev also condemned the shooting and called for the gunmen to be severely punished.
