Big Oil Buyers Named

MOSCOW () -- Ireland, Germany and Britain are the largest buyers of Russian oil on the world market, Interfax reported.

The three European countries account for 45 percent of all Russian oil exports, the agency said, citing figures from the State Statistics Committee.

Russia sold 27.3 million tons of oil, worth $2.8 billion, to the West in the first three months of 1995 compared to 29 million tons, worth $2.3 billion, in the same period last year, Interfax said.
