Ruhrgas in Estonia

MOSCOW () -- In the biggest investment to date by a German company in Estonia, Ruhrgas AG purchased 14.69 percent of the Estonian-Russian gas distribution firm Eesti Gaas.

The deal, penned Saturday, is worth $11.8 million and was part of a major share redistribution that saw the Estonian government's portion of the Eesti Gaas drop from 70 percent to 39.33 percent, Interfax reported.

Gazprom owns 30.64 percent and Estonian corporations and individuals hold the remaining 15.34 percent
