Sautin's Double Dip

MOSCOW () -- Dmitry Sautin of Russia, the overall World Cup diving leader in the 3-meter springboard and the 10-meter tower, won both events at the fourth stage of the Cup's inaugural tour, at Moscow's Olympic Swimming Complex. Sautin extended his advantage in the overall standings to 75 points over China's Xiao Hailiang.

Russia's Irina Lashko, Vera Ilyina and Yulia Pakhalina swept the women's 3-meter springboard in the event that concluded Sunday. Lashko, who missed all of last year after having a child, also improved her lead over Deng Yong of China to 45 points.

The Chinese divers took revenge on the women's 10-meter tower, with Wang Xian and Xiao Xia coming first and second. Xian took the lead in the Cup standings from Russia's Svetlana Timoshina, who had to pull out of competition with a high fever.
