New Coach Lepeshin

MOSCOW () -- Russian Davis Cup coach Vadim Borisov has been replaced by Anatoly Lepeshin, Yevgeny Kafelnikov's personal trainer.

According to Gennady Zhukov, the vice-president of the All-Russian Tennis Federation, Lepeshin was elected Friday at a special session of the RTF, by a vote of 8-1. Borisov did not seek re-election.

Zhukov also said that the National Foundation for Sports has found a sponsor which will meet a request of Kafelnikov's that he be paid $25,000 for each of his Davis Cup appearances as well as $10,000 for each singles victory and $5,000 for each doubles victory.

Russia will be hosting South Africa at Moscow's Olympic Sports Complex in a Davis Cup quarterfinals match from March 27 to April 2
